With Air Caraïbes flights from Fort-de-France, you can enjoy the Caribbean charm for a few more hours. The warmth of its people, its intense flavours, and its contagious rhythm will accompany you at the airport and even on board.
This may surprise you, but the Martinique Aimé Césaire International Airport (FDF) is actually one of the largest airports in France in terms of the number of passengers that pass through. If you want to get away from the crowds, you can access the VIP room with the Air Caraïbes Lounge Pass, where you can enjoy a refreshing cocktail, or even treat yourself to a relaxing massage while you wait for your flight from Fort-de-France.
The Martinique Airport is about 6 miles (9 kilometers) from Fort-de-France, meaning it can be reached by taxi in just 10 minutes. There are collective taxis for 8 or 9 passengers, but they are not recommended if you are traveling with a lot of luggage. The most practical and fastest solution is to get the TCSP tramway whose ticket costs just €1.45 and can be bought in any station. You can also rent a car with our partner SIXT and benefit from special deals!
