How does it work?
You have a chance to be upgraded based on the amount of your bid.
When placing your offer, you’ll be asked to provide your credit card details.
If your offer is accepted
You’ll receive an email confirmation of your upgrade two to three days before departure.
You’ll then be able to check in online for your new travel class.
Your credit card will be charged the amount you offered.
If your offer is declined
You’ll receive an email informing you that your offer was not accepted.
Your credit card will not be charged, and you’ll keep the travel class you originally booked.
Once your upgrade is confirmed, you'll enjoy all the benefits of the Madras or Caraïbes class.
Please note: Passengers who purchase an upgrade through our Up Class auction will earn Miles based on their original booking class and retain the baggage allowance of their initially booked travel class.
If your offer is declined
You’ll receive an email informing you that your offer was not accepted.
Your credit card will not be charged, and you’ll keep the travel class you originally booked.

Up Class Auction Terms and Conditions
- Service available on our transatlantic network between Paris Orly, Pointe-à-Pitre, Fort-de-France, Cayenne, Port-au-Prince, Punta Cana, and Cancún, as well as on flights operated in codeshare with French bee.
- Purchasing an upgrade to Madras Class through our Up Class auction grants access to the VIP lounge, as well as Speed Pass and Speed Bag services.
- Passengers who purchase an upgrade via the Up Class auction will earn Miles according to their original booking class and retain the baggage allowance of their originally booked travel class.
- A smart-casual dress code is required to access the upgraded classes.
- Upgrades are non-transferable, non-refundable, and only valid for the specific flight and date indicated.
- The conditions for changes and refunds remain the same as those applied to the original purchase.
- If you have placed a pending or declined Up Class bid, you may still modify your ticket to move to a higher class by paying the applicable fare difference. However, once you have upgraded through a paid ticket modification, your Up Class bid will no longer be valid. Up Class bids are automatically cancelled if you change your booking to a higher class.
- If you have already upgraded your booking to a higher class, you may no longer participate in the Up Class auction—unless you have upgraded from Soleil to Caraïbes and wish to place a bid for an upgrade to Madras Class.
